UVC disinfection
UV discharge lamps emit a comparatively high proportion of short-wave, energy-rich UV radiation (UVC) which makes them ideally suited for germ reduction. The DNA of the germs is irreversibly damaged, preventing them spreading. UVC irradiation allows chemical-free disinfection and gains highest inactivation rates.
Main application fields are the disinfection of packaging materials in the dairy processing and beverage industries as well as the disinfection of all kinds of contact surfaces and product surfaces.
