PTA-Adhoc: Dr. Hönle AG: Hönle Group expects a decline in sales and earnings in Q1 and confirms outlook for the financial year

Gilching (pta007/09.02.2024/08:30) - The Hönle Group achieved lower sales and results in the first three months of the 2023/2024 financial year compared to the period of the previous year due to the weak market environment in machinery and plant engineering as well as order delays.
According to preliminary calculations, the Management Board expects sales of € 23.8 million and an operating result (EBIT) of between € -0.6 million and € -0.8 million for the Hönle Group in the first quarter. In the same period last year, an operating result of € 2.3 million was achieved with sales of € 27.6 million.
The Management Board remains confident regarding the annual forecast and expects sales of between € 105 million and € 115 million and an operating result of between € 6 million and € 9 million. A significant increase in business activity is expected, particularly in the second half of the financial year due to increased order fulfilments.
As planned, Hönle AG will publish the quarterly statement on February 26, 2024.
